45-degree leg press

45-degree leg press
Patients who lack the strength to perform full range of motion squats, or who cannot tolerate barbell squats, may be trained either transitionally or indefinitely with the leg press. This exercise does not produce structural loading or improve balance and strength to the same extent as a barbell squat but is a valuable alternative for some patients.
