Thompson squeeze test for Achilles tendon tear

The Thompson squeeze test is used to help diagnose a tear of the Achilles tendon. Above are video clips showing normal plantar flexion as the patient's calf is squeezed and loss of plantar flexion in the leg with a torn Achilles tendon.
