Single anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass (SADI)

The single anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass (SADI) creates a sleeve-like gastric pouch, preserves the pylorus, and divides the duodenum after the pylorus. The gastric pouch is then anastomosed to the distal ileum as a single end-to-side anastomosis.
