Ureteropelvic junction obstruction with dilated renal pelvis

Ureteropelvic junction obstruction with dilated renal pelvis
Video showing robotic correction of a left congenital UPJ obstruction due to intrinsic narrowing of the ureter. The renal pelvis is dilated, and the ureter is tethered/kinked at the site of the UPJ obstruction. During the procedure, the abnormal intrinsic obstruction will be exposed and resected, then the normal proximal ureter will be anastomosed to the renal pelvis.
UPJ: ureteropelvic junction.
