Fat ring and pseudocapsule

Axial computed tomography image without contrast in a patient with sclerosing mesenteritis shows displacement of small bowel loops by mesenteric fat, which has the appearance of a fat ring/halo sign (arrows) around a small central soft tissue nodule. A surrounding pseudocapsule (arrowheads) is also seen.
