Midesophageal 4-chamber TEE view showing LV thrombus

A midesophageal 4-chamber view shows a non-contractile mass in the apex of the left ventricle likely representing thrombus. The severely reduced ejection fraction, akinesis of the apical segments, and presence of spontaneous echo contrast all support the diagnosis of LV thrombus.
