Laryngospasm notch pressure is also known as "Larson's maneuver". ¶ If succinylcholine is contraindicated, administer rocuronium 1.2 mg/kg IV, or if no IV access, 1 mg/kg IM in children <1 year of age, 1.8 mg/kg IM in children >1 year of age; expect prolonged duration of paralysis.
