Uncomplicated exercise-associated collapse, or exercise-associated postural hypotension, is relatively common among participants in endurance races. The condition is self-limited and usually resolves within 10 to 30 minutes. Leg elevation, shown above using a chaise lounge, is a common part of treatment.
