Duration of TIA symptoms >10 minutes |
Imaging features: |
Acute infarction on diffusion-weighted MRI (ie, TIA with infarction) |
Acute or chronic ischemic lesions on CT |
Multiple acute infarcts |
Simultaneous acute infarcts in both hemispheres or in both anterior and posterior circulations |
Multiple infarcts of different ages (combination of acute and subacute infarcts) |
Isolated cortical infarcts (without accompanying deep or subcortical infarcts) |
