Pancreaticojejunostomy techniques

Pancreaticojejunostomy techniques
For pancreaticojejunostomy, there are two predominant methods of reconstruction: end-to-side duct-to-mucosa anastomosis (A) or invagination of the pancreatic remnant. The invagination method can be performed either end-to-side (B) or end-to-end (C). The choice of the method is determined by surgeon preference, as there is no conclusive evidence to favor one method over another.
