Sarcoma botryoides of the distal urethra
Sarcoma botryoides of the distal urethra
The botryoid variant of embryonal RMS (sarcoma botryoides) takes its name from the "grape-like" gross appearance of the tumor. The botryoid variant typically arises within the wall of the bladder or vagina and is seen almost exclusively in infants.
RMS: rhabdomyosarcoma.
