US transducer positions to image tibial nerve caudally
This photograph shows the successive positions of the ultrasound transducer that are used to image the tibial nerve in its short-axis as it travels caudally. Note that the branching of the medial plantar, lateral plantar, and calcaneal nerves off the tibial nerve is variable.
