Bilateral comparison of tarsometatarsal (Lisfranc) injury
The plain radiographs shown above are weight-bearing views of both feet of a patient who has sustained a left tarsometatarsal injury. Note the abnormal widening in the left foot at the region of the first and second metatarsals. The right foot is uninjured and shows normal spacing and alignment.
