Severe combined chronic venous insufficiency and lymphedema

This patient had recurrent episodes of cellulitis requiring inpatient treatment. The mass on the medial aspect of the leg represents a focal form of lymphedema that is related to obesity. Surgical excision may be required in the setting of persistent or recurrent infection.
