In this chart, weight categories are defined as follows:

Overweight: BMI ≥85^th to <95^th percentile
Class I obesity: BMI ≥95^th percentile to <120% of the 95^th percentile and <35 kg/m²
Class II or III obesity: BMI ≥120% of the 95^th percentile or ≥35 kg/m²

BMI: body mass index.
