Gunshot wound upper arm

Gunshot wound upper arm
The image shows a large soft tissue defect caused by a gunshot wound to the left upper extremity. The missile caused an open comminuted humeral fracture and brachial artery injury. Arterial perfusion was restored with a saphenous vein interposition graft, and an external fixation device was placed to stabilize the bone.
