Overhead reverse lunge

Overhead reverse lunge
An overhead reverse lunge is an eccentric quadriceps exercise. It starts with a fully upright position (A). The athlete then strides back by extending the hip and flexing the knee of the rear leg in a controlled manner, while holding a ball overhead and maintaining good posture (B). The quadriceps of the forward leg (with foot elevated) is contracting eccentrically.
