Deafness & Education International is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality original research about the education of children and young people who are deaf. The Senior Editors welcome papers that are rigorous, adhere to ethical guidance, show thoroughness in the way the conclusions have been reached, and add important findings to the sector. The field of deaf education covers many disciplines including education, sociology, psychology, anthropology, linguistics, cultural studies and speech science. The Senior Editors encourage authors to consider the implications of research findings to practice because the journal is read by educators and other professionals working directly with children and young people who are deaf. Authors are also encouraged to apply findings to the international context. Manuscripts must be written in clear and accurate English and strictly adhere to the APA6 style guidelines. Deafness & Education follows an anonymous peer revie
