Learning Objectives To review the definition, epidemiology and outcomes of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). To analyze the pathophysiology of various causes of AKI, including ATN, prerenal, cardiorenal, and hepatorenal conditions. To categorize the appropriate differential diagnoses, identifying both glomerular and other interstitial lesions responsible for causing AKI. To examine updates in the prevention and treatment of AKI.
