Recent years have seen a growing interest in the appearance of the eyes among the concerns expressed by patients in cosmetic clinics. This has led to an increase in the frequency of diagnosis of tear trough deformity, and, as a result, the number of treatments performed by specialized professionals has also risen. Hyaluronic acid filler injection is a rapid, nonsurgical technique that gives good long?lasting, but not permanent, results. However, to achieve optimal results, the attending physician must have good anatomical knowledge of the area and involvement of the structures in the tear trough, carry out proper clinical assessment of the patient, and use an appropriate injection technique with the right product.

Pityriasis capitis commonly known as dandruff is one of the most common and widely seen dermatological disease that affects majority of the world population. It is more than superficial flaking, as it leads to significant structural changes in the stratum corneum and inflammatory biomarkers. Various intrinsic and extrinsic factors, such as Malassezia yeast, host epidermal conditions, sebaceous secretion, and abnormal immune responses, are found to contribute to the pathogenesis. Regardless of wide research, detail understanding, and treatment modalities, it still remains to be a cause of concern due to its recurring nature.

Hyaluronic fillers have been used for filling in folds and contour the face according to global aesthetic standards to achieve a smooth ogee curve on the face. But sometimes these result in a bulkier look to the face thus preventing more people from opting for these procedures. Although M.D codes have now been given to guide the injecting physicians for various points of injections on the face, they need to be used judiciously and tailored to individuals, using the lateral points of the face first.

Acne during youth can leave permanent facial scarring. The depressed acne scars can be treated by injection of stabilized hyaluronic acid (S?HA) into the dermis. Due to the large number of acne scars, manual injection methods are technically difficult and bear high risk of lump formation in the dermis. Therefore, the author designed a specific injection method to solve the two abovementioned problems.

The deterioration of the skin accentuates over time, affecting its aesthetic appearance. This is characterized by the weakening of the mechanisms involved in the regeneration and repair of the dermal matrix. Consequently, the skin losses elasticity and smoothness resulting in the formation of wrinkles. The alternatives for facial rejuvenation include surgery, injection of botulinum toxin, and the application of masks. Topic products are less invasive, can be self?applied, and have an increased benefit/risk relationship.

Epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors (EGFRI) used in cancer chemotherapy cause acneiform folliculitis in 70%?100% of patients in a dose?dependent manner. Acneiform folliculitis is considered to be caused by an inflammatory process due to follicular hyperkeratosis and subsequently a set of changes both in epidermis and hair follicles as a result of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) blockade. Both acne vulgaris and acneiform folliculitis due to EGFRIs show similar changes in the pilosebaceous unit. Furthermore, in both groups of patients, topical application of recombinant human epidermal growth factor (EGF) has been reported to improve the disease.
