Behçet syndrome is a rare, chronic inflammatory disease of unknown aetiopathogenesis, most commonly presenting with mucocutaneous and ocular manifestations. Vascular involvement, most frequently superficial vein and deep vein thrombosis, can occur in up to 50% of patients with Behçet syndrome.
